All About the New GMC Yukon near Clarkston

Available in standard and XL editions, the new GMC Yukon is one of the biggest full-size SUVs you will see on the road. Trim Levels

Whether you go with the Yukon or the Yukon XL, Waterford can choose from five trim levels. The SLE has trailer sway control and a suspension that gives you a smoother ride. Black assist steps on the sides help anyone climb inside. GMC added a 10.2-inch infotainment system to this trim, too. Go with the SLT if you prefer chrome body accents, a hands-free liftgate, and 20-inch wheels. There's also the AT4 with magnetic ride control, all-terrain tires, and side rails mounted on the roof. GMC offers two Denali trims, too:

  • Denali: Satin chrome moldings, surround vision, power console, and Bose stereo system with 14 speakers
  • Denali Ultimate: 22-inch wheels, 16-way power seats in the front, leather-trimmed seats, and 18 speakers.

Interior and Exterior Features

While the interior features you can enjoy while driving in Highland vary across trims, you can get a good look at some stylish accents on most models. The new Yukon has a cupholder tucked behind a hidden door in the console and wood accents on the doors.

Some models have both heated and ventilated seats. You can choose four different wheel styles for the outside, which also feature advanced LED lighting and assist steps that drop and lift with the touch of a button.

Performance

The SLE and other trims come with a 5.3-liter V8 engine with 383 pound-feet of torque and 355 horsepower. Lake Orion drivers get 15 to 20 miles per gallon with this engine. Drive up to 756 miles on a single fuel tank with the 3.0-liter DURAMAX engine with 460 pounds of torque and 277 horsepower. The Traction Select System from GMC allows drivers to select the best mode for the road ahead to get more speed and stability.

Technology

A 10.2-inch premium infotainment system is available for all new Yukon models. This system is compatible with Google and lets you use your Google account to get directions, check your email, and use other apps. With HD surround vision, you can see every angle around your Yukon and see things you might normally miss. You also get a 15-inch heads-up display and a camera with more than ten views.

Safety

No matter where you drive around White Lake, the new Yukon offers convenient safety features like Lane Change Alert with Blind Spot Alert that informs you of any vehicles in your side blind spots. Its Lane Keeping Assist works with its Lane Departure Warning to ensure you change lanes safely. You get an indicator that helps you maintain a safe distance from the vehicles in front of you as well as Rear Parking Assist and Front Parking Assist.
